Description
Overview
The B&R 3DM455.60-1 is a digital mixed module from the DM455 series within the System 2005 platform. It provides 8 digital inputs (24 VDC logic, sink configuration) and 8 transistor outputs (0–50 VDC, up to 1 A per channel) with integrated short-circuit protection. The module is engineered for high-speed control, with output switching times in the microsecond range. Inputs accept a voltage range of 18–30 VDC (nominal 24 V), and the design includes opto-isolation between input and output circuits. Status LEDs on the front panel provide quick indication of input states, output states, RUN, and ERROR conditions. As part of the DM455 family, the 3DM455.60-1 variant ensures hardware and software compatibility with existing System 2005 installations.
