Position: Test Technician – Factory Automation

Responsibilities and Job Details:
The person in this role will test refurbished factory automation equipment in our quality lab. The equipment for test includes:
- Control system parts
- Display panels
- Power supplies
- Drives
The objective is to verify that products are in good working order before they are added to inventory or sold to customers.
Additional duties include customer technical support, documentation research, improvement of test procedures and maintaining lab equipment.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate would have a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering technology. A minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent is required. Direct experience with factory automation in a manufacturing, system integration or repair setting is preferred, but not required.
The person should have good computer skills, be able to take initiative and be quality focused.
