Panelicity Ramp/Soak Profiler: Precision Control for Complex Processes
The latest update to Panelicity introduces a full-featured Ramp/Soak Profiler designed to help engineers manage processes with greater accuracy and flexibility.
What It Does
The profiler allows process engineers or operators to create automated “recipes” where the controller setpoint changes without manual intervention. Each recipe can include up to 12 segments (6 ramps and 6 soaks) across 20 different profiles.
– Ramp segments move the setpoint at a defined rate or over a set time.
– Soak segments hold the setpoint for a defined period.
– Guaranteed soak ensures timing only progresses when the process value is within a set tolerance.
This structured approach improves repeatability, reduces operator workload, and supports tighter process control.
