Return Policy

Warranty

The warranty term is 2-year from date of shipment unless stated otherwise in the description of the part. We warrant that the item will be free of functional defects that may occur under normal operating conditions within the warranty period. If a defect occurs, we will either: send you a new unit, repair your unit or refund your purchase price based upon our availability. You must contact us for a return authorization and then return the defective unit to us within 30-days after reporting the defect. In most cases, Classic Automation will pay for return shipping and the shipping of the replacement using its approved shipping method.


THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES; EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THAT WE DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES EXCEPT ACTUAL DAMAGES UP TO, BUT NOT EXCEEDING, THE AMOUNT PAID TO US FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF SAME.


Non-Warranty

If you are dissatisfied with a product you may return the product within 30 calendar days of the invoice date. A 20% restock administration fee will apply to all non-warranty returns unless otherwise stated. Products that are “Factory New” are subject to the return policy of the manufacturer.


If you need to make a non-warranty return claim please contact us at customerservice@classicautomation.com or call +1 585-241-6010 for a return authorization number (RA#) prior to any return.

Product must be returned in purchased condition and accompanied by a Classic Automation return authorization number (RA#).


Repair Service Returns

All products repaired by Classic Automation are subject to the same warranty as surplus parts. We warrant the complete item and not just the components replaced by the repair.


All items sent in for repair or evaluation must be accompanied by a Classic Automation return authorization number (RA#).


Return Authorization

No items should be returned before contacting our customer service department for a Classic Automation return authorization number (RA#). This RA# must be printed clearly on the outside of the box the item is returned in. A return authorization letter must also be included inside the box.
