Keeping the World's Production Running

Classic Automation extends the lifecycle of automation systems with sustainable solutions, high-quality refurbished equipment, and exceptional customer service. Now for over 2 decades.

Who we Are - A Foundation of Quality

Founded in 2003 by Fritz Ruebeck, Classic Automation began as a one-man operation in Webster, NY, filling a gap in the market for high-quality refurbished automation equipment. After leaving ABB, Fritz saw the need for a business that could support engineers dealing with obsolete control systems. What started as a small website offering hard-to-find parts quickly grew as industries sought sustainable alternatives to costly system upgrades.

Today, Classic Automation serves over 110 countries, providing surplus refurbished parts and expert repairs to help customers extend the lifecycle of their automation systems.

Extending Equipment Lifespans
Refurbishing parts keeps valuable systems in operation for longer, reducing the demand for new equipment and cutting down on resource consumption and emissions.

Reducing Electronic Waste
Our approach helps divert significant amounts of electronic waste from landfills, contributing to a circular economy where automation components are reused rather than discarded.

Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings
Keeping legacy systems in service is often more energy-efficient than replacing them with new ones. Our solutions help you conserve energy and reduce costs, all while promoting a greener approach to industrial automation.
