Why we built it

We resell control system parts every day. Then we got tired of reselling failure.

For two decades, Classic Automation has supported plants running Moore 352/353, MOD 30ML, and Micro DCI controllers. We saw the same story on every service call: vendors moving on, spares vanishing, downtime climbing. So our engineers built Panelicity — a controller designed to drop into those failing panels and outlast them.

Powerful process control. Slim package. Engineered for the panel you have.

Classic Automation industrial parts and repair

Panelicity® Series 36 is a powerful process panel controller in a small package — pre-defined displays, alarms, trends, and standard industrial control strategy templates. It simplifies new installations and provides updated technology for upgrades of older panel controllers.

Implement one or multiple temperature, pressure, flow, or level control loops with just one slim 1/2 DIN (3×6) controller. The unit mounts easily and is purpose-built for areas with depth restrictions, where deeper hardware will not fit behind the panel face.

Because Panelicity is engineered in-house, our team supports you from specification through commissioning — not a third-party reseller relationship, not a support ticket queue routed overseas.

Configured, not coded. Live on day one.

Easy Installation & Configuration

Pre-defined displays, alarms, and trends. Get the system running quickly — without writing custom code for standard strategies.

Low Total Cost of Ownership

Save on maintenance, spare parts, and operational cost compared to keeping legacy hardware on life support.

Integrated Ethernet / Web

Built-in secure remote monitoring through the integrated web interface — no extra HMI layer required.

Toolkit Software

For applications outside our standard library — our engineers build custom strategies for you using the Toolkit.

Each customer's situation is unique. Whether you have a service contract or prefer a single service visit, we offer on-site preventive maintenance — and we work closely with you and the original equipment manufacturers to customize a cost-effective plan.

We analyze your existing system to determine which hardware will be maintained, and what applications should be migrated — controllers, field wiring and terminations, hardware. We work around your shutdown windows and time constraints to build a step-by-step plan.

For 3×6 multi-loop controllers — Moore 352, Moore 353, MOD 30ML — Panelicity Series 36 is the direct migration path.

Two element boiler drum level control diagram

Two-Element Boiler Drum Level Control

Optional

Boiler drum level is maintained. Moderate variations in steam flow are tolerated. Drum level is controlled with feedforward from the steam flow sensor.

Three element boiler drum level control diagram

Three-Element Boiler Drum Level Control

Optional

Boiler drum level is maintained. Large variations in steam flow are tolerated. Drum level is controlled by cascade with boiler feedwater flow controller and feedforward control from steam flow sensor.

Optional

Tank / Sump Level Control — Up to Three Pumps

Tank/Sump level (up to three pumps) is maintained by turning pumps on and off with input from a level transmitter or float switches. Signal can be automatically changed to float switches upon loss of the level transmitter signal. Pump up (fill) or pump down (drain) is user selectable. Simplex, Duplex, or Triplex control is available. Data quality and process alarming are built-in features.
