Unless otherwise specified, we will ship your order via UPS (United Parcel Service). We can also ship via Fedex, DHL, TNT or USPS (US Postal Service). We can also use your account number.
We can ship small packages "cargo-mode" if you require full paperwork for special situations such as letters of credit.
Heavier items can be shipped on pallets or crates. We can arrange LTL freight, ocean or air transport for you or work with your freight forwarder.
We normally ship UPS Ground in the US, UPS Standard to Canada and UPS Express Saver to all other locations.
If you require any other types of urgency or carrier, we need you to clearly specify this information on your order.
Non-urgent items will typically ship in 3 or 4 days depending on our testing order backlog. We can often ship urgent orders the same day. We do not charge extra for this, but base it on your use of expedited shipping options. Let us know how urgent your requirements are and we will do our best to ship the same day you order.
It is also possible to do same day (counter-to-counter, or point-to-point) shipments for emergency situations.
Shipping charges can be determined by completing an order or quote online. We can also provide this for you if you contact us by phone, fax, or email.
The product prices do not include shipping or insurance. Our default method is to pre-pay the shipping and add it to your invoice. We charge the standard UPS rates. We do not normally charge handling fees.
We will gladly provide shipping quotes if requested, and can also provide weight and dimensions. If you require a Pro Forma Invoice, please let us know if you want us to quote shipping or if you will use your carrier account number.
We are only authorized to collect sales tax for shipments to addresses in New York State. For all other locations, the purchaser is responsible for paying any uncollected taxes or duties to their local authorities.
Most items will ship from our headquarters in Webster, New York in the US. Webster is a suburb of Rochester, and is about 300 miles (approximately 500 km) northwest of New York City.
We will normally send you the tracking number of your shipment via e-mail once the item has shipped. For this reason it is important that you include your e-mail address on your registration or quote.
